My Thoughts:
Kaylee Ryan is definitely the Queen of Swoon, but this book -- is one of her absolute BEST yet! She creates an incredible cast of characters who are real, flawed, and have depth that make them completely relatable.
Ramsey faced a lot of hardships with "family" prior to coming to live with her aunt and uncle. They have opened their hearts and lives to show her what family truly means. Her best friend finally convinces her to give a blind photography date a try. She meets Deacon, the brother of her best friend, and there are sparks from the very first moment they see each other.
Deacon is incredibly patient, yet he pushes at moments that Ramsey needs a bit of a push. Together, they help give each other exactly what is missing. Ramsey helps Deacon find enjoyment in life outside of his work. He gives her confidence in herself and she gives him a deep, true love.
I'm excited to follow along the journey of the Kincaid brothers that is set to follow this book. They added a lot of humor and moments that made me laugh out loud. My favorite scene is when Ramsey is able to stand up to her family and close that chapter of her life for the fantastic new!
