Kathleen Shoops whisks us away from the madness of the world with her new Brashear Series with book one - Love Under the Stars. Shoop brings us a new family to find ourselves wrapped up in with a bang. I am always in awe of how she creates such a strong, well-written cast and illuminating scenes that have you feeling like you're right there with them.
I was in awe of the unique connection of a love for the vast topic of astronomy and the universe beyond the skies. Both Phoebe and John are family-oriented but at first, don't see expanding into one of their own. Once they do, this is where I felt my eyes flying through the pages faster because I wanted to know where they were headed. Their love is so much more than a physical attraction -- there is a deep connection for more.
As with any romance, there are many obstacles that the pair must overcome before they can truly be together. The time frame really plays a part in the decisions the pair makes and how the book ends. An absolute wonder to read. Excited about what is to come of the series!
I received a complimentary copy for reviewing purposes. All opinions are my own.
