Allie Everhart brings us a contemporary, small town romance that brings all the love we're looking for, while adding a bit of suspense. Kyle's character was written well to draw us in to fall in love while still being insanely curious as to what he could be hiding. Sage's personal situation pulls at your heart strings and brings the issue of being an outsider in a small town. The scrutiny hits deep if you've ever been in her shoes.
I read this within two days/sittings and thoroughly enjoyed the banter between the couple. I laughed out loud several times (especially when they initially meet) and felt all of the emotions as they fell for one another. The real excitement comes near the end and I found myself wishing for a bit more of that earlier on. But overall, a solid 4-star read!
